Again this year, the Tohu-Bohu programming reveals new talents as was the case in 2001 for Vitalic, Swayzack in 2002 and, more recently, Hot Chip, Digitalism, Danton Eeprom, Simian Disco Mobile, Teenage Bad Girl and Yuksek. But it also confirms our interest in artists unaffected by time or fads, such as Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Miss Kittin, Erol Alkan, Andrew Weatherall and DJ Hell, who have fashioned the creation of electro music and transcended the Tohu-Bohu public.
For the revelations, this year it will be necessary to count on several French artists including the excellent DJs Don Rimini and BrondiskiI, the ‘live’ of Danger; newcomer on the very prolific Lyons scene and on the two Englishmen of autoKratz, produced by the Kitsune label.
This highly cosmopolitan programming also brings together the Israeli Guy Gerber, live, whose first album marked the year 2007; the Austrian producer Clara Moto, live; the ‘neo-Montpellierain’ James Taylor; the American DJ Claude VonStroke; the German Mark Ernestus accompanied by Tikiman, the pair better known by the name ‘Rhythm & Sound’; and finally, the English represented by the brilliant DJ and producer Radio Slave, then Jimpster and Milton Jackson for an evening devoted to the London Freerange label.

This programming is again becoming much more eclectic, accentuating the importance of the ‘electro rock’ scene, especially in France, and recalling that Dub remains a major current in the electro universe. Finally, it spotlights the return of House, reinvented thanks to labels like Sonar Kollectiv, Dessous, Compost and Freerange, and Techno, whose rhythm has slowed down to become more melodious and introspective, under the influence of Minimalist music.
