Violin maker in Montpellier, scientific curator of the exhibition Stradivarius Montpellier 2008.

By working until age 93, Stradivarius managed to build one thousand instruments. The quality of his creations left an unforgettable sound imprint on the music world.
Today, when you listen to Maxim Vengerov or Anne-Sophie Mutter, it is a stradivarius you are hearing.
You prefer Grapelli? Well guess what, it is another stradivarius that sings to your ears.To obtain such results, Antonio Stradivari imposed a quest for perfection at all times from his household. By examining closely the rare information that came through to us about this uncommon man, Frédéric Chaudière tries to close in on the character of the most famous violin maker, of all time.
